There is a growing awareness of the need for evaluation and evidence-based practices in the area of psychosocial and community interventions. As a result, a number of entities have requested help with evaluating programmes and services aimed to support children and families.

One example is ESAFAM’s evaluation of Pamplona’s Family Intervention Service, one of the city’s most long standing family preservation initiatives, carried out in collaboration with the cooperative KAMIRA. With help from a large number of professionals who gathered data over multiple years, ESAFAM evaluated the programme’s efficiency and effectiveness with data on more than 300 families using Child Well-being Scales.
